She grew up in western Michigan, graduated from DePaul University College of Law in 2004 in Chicago with multiple accolades. She has practiced in state and federal trial courts and appellate courts around the country representing Fortune 500 companies, mid-sized businesses, and individuals. After practicing in Chicago for nearly a decade and in Michigan for another decade, she and her family moved to the Roaring Fork River Valley to pursue their love of skiing, hiking, and fishing.
