Two years ago I suffered a very severe break in my right tibia plateau while attempting to enter a restaurant for breakfast. There was a metal pipe cut off above ground level that I hyperextended my knee on when I accidentally stepped on the top of it. As I am just now fifty years old, the implications surrounding the injury for extensive life changes has been great.
