Ashlea Goines is an estate and guardianship attorney who combines rigorous academic achievement with a long-standing commitment to families and older adults. A 2006 summa cum laude graduate of Texas State University (B.A., Political Science) and a scholarship track & field athlete, Ashlea earned her J.D. with honors from Baylor Law in 2009, where she met her husband, Tim. Early practice in Clearwater, Florida exposed her to estate planning, probate, guardianship, and real estate matters and solidified her focus on clients navigating death, disability, and special needs planning. After several relocations tied to military life, she waived into the Colorado Bar in 2017, launched Goines Law in 2018, and became a full member of the Colorado Bar in 2022. Across a 16 year career she has practiced exclusively in estate and business planning, probate, and guardianship, and she leads Goines Law’s estate planning and guardianship teams. Professional memberships include the Colorado Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, Florida Bar, El Paso County Bar Association, Military Spouse JD Network, Baylor Law Alumni Ambassador program, and the Christian Legal Society.
