Client was charged with domestic violence, assault, harassment, and criminal mischief following an argument with his girlfriend that was partially captured on cell phone and home security cameras. Clie ... nt was adamant he was not the initial aggressor and refused to accept any plea offer. Defense filed motions to dismiss certain charges (some were granted), meticulously reviewed body-worn camera footage to expose inconsistencies in law enforcement accounts, and took the case to trial. During the first trial, law enforcement admitted they had not turned over all evidence. The court denied the motion to dismiss but granted a mistrial due to this misconduct.
