William Gerard Drexler

Experience is key when dealing with the legal system.  Will Drexler has been in the legal field for over 20 years, working initially as a criminal defense investigator in Colorado Springs for 13 years, next as an attorney with Colorado State Public Defender for six years, and in private practice since.    

As an investigator, Will worked primarily on state appointed criminal defense cases ranging from misdemeanors to capital homicides.  In that career, he worked with many of the State’s finest lawyers on some of the most difficult cases.  As a member of A+ criminal defense teams, Will had an exceptional opportunity to learn first-hand what legal methods and strategies were effective, which ones weren’t, and why. 

In the next six years as a public defender, those investigator experiences shaped Will’s own practice of law, again in a wide range of cases including first degree murder.  Combined with the intense training and experience at the Colorado State Public Defender, renowned as one of the strongest public defender systems in the United States, Will crafted effective and proven case strategies, distinguishing him as a strong and skilled trial lawyer.
