Carrie Elizabeth Kelly

Carrie was an absolute barracuda in court. My ex was a total nightmare and coming at me left and right with frivolous lawsuits. Carrie was extremely knowledgeable and an all star in court. She is very quick witted and thinks on her feet. She does not return emails frequently which can be highly f...rustrating but she came to court prepared and ready to represent me diligently. I didn’t hire her to hold my hand and dry my tears…. Did she make me cry? Yes. Was she expensive? Yes. I hired her to represent me and my interests …. She did and by all accounts, my children and I had the court rule in our favor. Be very clear about what you want and need from her but I would definitely fear her if I were on the opposing counsel side. I’m thankful for her and for the favorable outcome of a very nasty, turbulent divorce.

This is the first and the last attorney I ever hired. She is the one that gives attorneys a bad name . And her assistant was not much better . It was the worst experience ever in my biggest time of need. Carrie does not return emails or communicate about the status of your case. She does not know law... and gave me incorrect basic law twice. This will surely get you in a lot of trouble. She did absolutely nothing in court but stare at her laptop. She didn't listen to anything I had to say or do anything I asked her to do including things to say in my defense. She charged me over $1,000 for absolutely no progress and then had the nerve to send me another $1,400 bill after I fired her. She is a total flake and the most undependable professional I have ever seen.

don't even know where to start telling all the bad things that this law firm did to me and will do to you. Money is their only motivated. Kelly will take all of your money plus more. She tries to tell that is because you case is so difficult but, it was a one hose no children divorce. One of the ...letters from their firm started with, "Hey Diane" very professional. I did complain about how much it was costing me as we were only a quarter of the way done and it was already over $10,000.00. A few weeks later I asked a question and was told if I wanted an answer it would cost me more. After the trial for the divorce was done I was told that she did not bring the right paper work with her. The other information that she brought was such a mess that the judge could not make any sense out of it. After the final order came back and I got screwed for lack of proper paperwork at trial and the judge made a ruling in my favor Kelly said that was not what the judge meant and that he meant something else so that she looked like she was right and so I would not sue them. After the divorce was finished I went to the Better Business Bureau to complaint about Kelly/Gasper law group. The BBB got Kelly to write an agreement that I though was fair to both sides. Kelly and I both signed this agreement. I did my part but Kelly kept saying I had to do more. I asked her to show me where in the agreement that it said to do those things and I have not heard from Kelly again. I think she did not know what she had wrote and signed. I think, maybe she had forgot what she wrote as she kept asking me to do things that were not in the agreement. The Gasper group passed my case all around their firm. I was never sure who was going to call or email me. One of my lawyers quit and maybe that is what happened to the first paralegal on my case. There is lots more things about this place that are very unprofessional. All I want to tell you is hire anyone else or represent yourself as that would be a better option than Kelly or anyone from the Gaper law group.

From the first contact with carrie kelly up until my daughters divorce took approx. 9 months and still she omitted alot of the pertinent information on the final orders, got the final orders wrong, never let us see any billing, kept my daughters permanent restraining order as well as other paperwork,...never let us know of court dates, we had to find out by calling the courts, she was suppose to amend the final orders and that never happened and paperwork that my daughters ex filed we never knew about or got copies. I do not recommend this attorney. She was not professional at any point in time through the process.
