About Alexander
Biography
Alex was born and raised in Denver and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder then went to law school in San Diego.
After passing the California Bar Exam on his first attempt, Alex began practicing law in San Diego, but the pull of family was too great, so he moved back to Denver.
Alex practiced in Denver for about eight years, got married and had three daughters, then realized that he wanted to raise his daughters in a small-town atmosphere. Following substantial research and soul searching, Alex moved his family to Sterling where they have lived since 2005.
Alex believes in giving back to the Sterling community and has served on the board of directors of several nonprofit entities. A few of those entities are as follows: Logan County Chamber of Commerce (President twice), Logan County Economic Development Corporation (President), Sterling Citizens Advisory Board (Vice Chairman), Sterling Rotary Club (President-Elect), High Plains Sexual Assault Center, Sterling Kiwanis Club (President twice).
