Kristin Michelle Zacheis

Lazy investigating. Not worth the money! Kristin was careless and unprofessional in so many ways. Never returned emails or calls, used hearsay in her legal reports and proceedings. Needs her license revoked. I would not recommend her services to anybody. Please stear clear of this horrible excuse of ...an attorney!

I would not recommend Kristin for custody cases. I have no idea how she does in other areas. Kristin is very respectful when speaking to her, when I could get ahold of her. I had repeatedly asked for advice and guidance on multiple concerns of mine only to never here back from her on those issues. I ...called the office and left messages with her assistant Carmen, and never heard back. Every time we have court, it was 10 minutes to prepare a statement and review evidence and got nowhere in court. She made decisions on my behalf and never communicated those decisions to me, I got blindsided by my ex wife of those decisions. There were conference calls held with the opposing counsel and agreements were made and never communicated to me. It honestly felt like she was working for opposing side. I was charged for conference calls with me that never took place. We won the temp orders hearing, only because at that time my ex had the worst attorney in the USA and he made a fool of himself in court. There is much more, but it’s too much and could be legally binding. My overall experience was horrible with Kristin. I intended on reporting her to the bar. Maybe in other areas, she’s awesome, I don’t know, but if you’re looking for a divorce and custody attorney, do some research, there are much better choices out there.

I hired Mrs. Zacheis in March of 2017 to assist in the adoption of my son. She was the most attentive attorney from the moment we began interacting. She handled everything from the moment I met the birth parents, throughout the pregnancy, birth and until the adoption was finalized. My son is now 2 ye...ars old and she regularly checks in to see how we are doing. She always went above and beyond what I expected from her. She answered my phone calls and emails immediately. She was not only my attorney, but also an amazing sounding board throughout the nerve wracking process. I never questioned her commitment to me, my son and ensuring the adoption was as smooth as possible. I would recommend Mrs. Zacheis any day for your family matter needs! You will not be disappointed!

While knowledgeable and resourceful, Ms. Zacheis was overall inattentive and neglectful of follow through. I retained Ms. Zacheis for a custody and parenting dispute. She represented me for 10 months. She was to slow to respond to communications, at one point, taking over 2 weeks to respond to my ...email. I had to call office repeatedly to get my response to questions that I emailed about. Then, I was billed for time I spent talking to Ms. Zacheis about my dissatisfaction (she did credit me the billing after further complaint). Also, following hearing, Ms. Zacheis failed to respond to opposing counsel repeated equests to approve final document. This resulted in opposing counsel filing doc. unilaterally with court. I would not recommend Ms. Zacheis for family court/parenting dispute. I had to consult another lawyer to learn of proper follow through, post hearing.
