Deborah Kish Johansen

DeborahKish Johansen, J.D., M.B.A.

Deborah received herBachelor of Science degree in Secondary Social Science Education from FloridaState University in 1994. She went on to obtain a Juris Doctorate degree and aMaster of Business Administration degree from the University of Florida in1998. Deborah was first admitted to practice law in Florida in 1998. In 2007she obtained her license to practice law in Colorado.

Deborah has worked forboth large and small law firms. She began her legal career in Fort Lauderdale,Florida in the Corporate and Securities Department of a large regional law firmand continued her career with a boutique law firm in Orlando, Floridarepresenting a local school board and corporate clients. Thereafter, Deborah wentinto private practice in Florida representing businesses and also was an Associate Professor at Valencia Community College inKissimmee, Florida from 2002 until 2007. She taught Business Law I, BusinessLaw II, Introduction to Business, and American Government. In 2007 sherelocated to Colorado and opened her private practice.  Deborah continues in private practicewith Johansen Law Office, P.C. representing business clients and teaches in thebusiness department at the University of Phoenix.

Deborah is a current member of the Board ofDirectors of the Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce as well as a member of theColorado Bar Association, Florida Bar Association, Douglas-Elbert County BarAssociation, and the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce. Deborah is a past memberof the Board of Directors of Castle Country Assisted Living, a non-profitorganization. Deborah is also a Brownie Girl Scout Co-Leader and volunteers forJunior Achievement.
