As a mediator he said , and I quote, that the Colorado Consumer Protection Act was "bureaucratic nonsense," and summarily dismissed over 60 cited violations of such law. He stated, " people build without city permits all the time" [a bandwagon fallacy in logic indicating that if many people are doi...ng it, then it is the right thing to do.] He clearly believes in no consumer rights despite laws saying otherwise. He acts as if his job is about whether he agrees with current law, rather than to serve as a fair and unbiased interpreter of the existing laws. Never agree to binding arbitration with this man, he uses 'binding' to cloak an overriding bias on his part, knowing no other court will reexamine his decision. I strongly suspect he had a long congenial relationship with the opposing counsel, they referred to each other by first names and even more familiarly by nicknames. I think if this was the case, he should have recused himself.
