Sam Kornfeld

I am a Colorado native and grew up along the Front Range. I am a member of Kiwanis International, volunteer as a school-board chair for Academy of Arts & Knowledge elementary, and serve as treasurer for the Byron White Inn of Court. My practice focus is wills, trusts, and estate planning for young families with minor children as well as firearms rights restoration and education, criminal record sealing and expungements. I help individuals protect themselves and their families.

I started my legal career in litigation but grew frustrated that many cases could have been avoided with proper planning and due to the costs neither side was happy at the end of the case, even if they won. Estate planning cases were often the most troubling because the fight was between family members. I decided to change my practice to focus on estate planning to help families avoid the problems I had seen in the past. I believe any estate plan should minimize conflict and ensure your dignity, not just deal with property.
