After initially planning to represent myself against unfounded accusations against myself and my current husband by my ex-husband in a post-decree motion to restrict/modify parenting time I became overwhelmed with the entire process. Despite the fact that I was never actually able to meet with him in person as I live 8 hours away from Boulder, he put me at ease during one of the most stressful experiences I've ever been through. His attention and professionalism in drafting responses to my ex-husband's allegations, support during our child and family investigation, and in ultimately reaching an amicable agreement during mediation was phenomenal. Although Sean may be fairly new at practicing private, family law, it didn't show one bit, and I was able to be confident in not only his knowledge, but his ability to find the correct information when needed. Throughout the whole ordeal Sean stayed calm and professional, despite the difficulties posed while interacting and negotiating with opposing counsel and my ex-husband. Sean made it possible to reach an agreement that will allow my child to continue residing with me, while having ample visitation with his father, and which provides for financial support much more in line with with our current circumstances than what we had agreed to in the past. I couldn't be happier with the outcome, which is truly in my child's best interest, and to which I am certain I would never have been able to reach on my own.
