Edward Smith

Ed Smith is a very nice lawyer. He was always there to answer all our questions at any time day/night. he never passed us on to another person or secretary, he always helped us personally. he was always friendly, polite, honest and upfront. He explains everything in details and makes you feel comfort...able your getting the best answers and making the best choices and decisions for you and your family. I did not have the time or want to deal with the insurance companies or handle bills or payments with Ed he took care of everything we never worried about a thing. He's a great choice if your looking for someone trustworthy and reliable, honest and caring. I would recommend him to anyone, and hire him again in a second. thanks Ed!

I think there are many times in life when the last thing you want to do is be in a legal situation when you are otherwise in crisis and this is why it is crucial to find someone you can trust and work well with. When I met Ed Smith, my Mom had just been killed by a car that accidentally hit her as sh...e was crossing the street. I had no idea all of the details and issues that would come up within this loss and trauma and Ed was very good at guiding us all through. Another detail of note is, I am deaf, sometimes I had the luxury of my daughter with me to interpret but when she could not be there Ed was very patient and great about writing things out for me so that I would understand what was going on and what we needed to do. This may seem straightforward but I have been deaf 30 years and many is the time professionals just talked over and around me and did nothing to let me know what was being said or done. I deeply appreciate Ed's sensitivity to clarity and communication no matter what. I also appreciate beyond all of the technical details and things that must be done he was also in touch with the human side of the case. This tragedy was a complete accident nothing malicious or careless and Ed was helpful in reaching out to the person who had been driving the car and helping all involved get as much closure as one can have in such an impossible situation. This is very important to me. The other thing I noticed that was very beneficial was the family left after Mom's passing is not family that routinely speaks so this was prickly. Ed was kind and professional in keeping everyone in the loop and not taking sides and just making sure everyone got all of the information which was imperative for this all to be resolved as calmly and effectively as possible.
