Cameron specializes in complex real estate and business transactions as well as oil and gas matters. He represents real estate developers, property owners, mineral owners, and investors in all aspects of real estate and land use, including the acquisition, use, and disposition of land, financing, title matters, zoning, leasing and other real estate issues. He also represents businesses and individuals with entity formation, business transactions, contracts and other transactional matters.
EDUCATION & PAST POSITIONS
Cameron graduated in 1991 from Colorado College where he received a B.A. degree, majoring in English with an emphasis in vocal music performance. Cameron attended the Aspen Opera Theater Center before deciding upon a career in law. At the University of Colorado School of Law, Cameron authored "Transboundary Air Pollution: Can NAFTA and NAAEC Succeed Where International Law has Failed?" in the Colorado Journal of International Environmental Law and Politics and served as Production Editor for that publication. He graduated in 1995 with his J.D. and then joined the firm of Grant, Bernard, Lyons and Gaddis, P.C., as an associate.
Cameron and Wally Grant formed Grant & Grant (later Grant, Grant & Goiran) in 1997. That firm merged to form Donelson, Ciancio & Grant, P.C. in 2012.
Cameron, Wally, Suzan Fritchel and their long-time paralegal, Maureen Simpson, returned to the firm in 2013.

Cameron’s clients include individuals, business and real estate owners and land developers. His past projects include:
5,000 Unit Mixed Use Development. Land use and entitlement counsel for Brookfield Residential Communities in relation to 1,200 acre annexation, zoning and development of the Barefoot Lakes master planned community in Firestone, Colorado.
Multi-County Land and Mineral Sale. $55.5M transaction involving the sale of multiple surface and mineral properties throughout Colorado.
Heron Lakes Mixed Use Golf Community (Berthoud). Annexation and entitlement of 600 acre lake front project, now slated for construction of Colorado’s first TPC golf course.
Rocky Mountain Fuel Company Acquisition. Provided legal counsel to buyer through contract, due diligence and closing phases of corporate acquisition.
Prospect New Town, New Urban Community. “America’s Coolest Neighborhood” (Dwell Magazine). Represented developer in all real estate and business matters relating to the project, including creation of community owners’ association, purchase and sale transactions and business and tax planning strategies.
Carma/Bayshore Windy Gap Water Acquisition. Advised international developer/homebuilder in relation to the first public/private partnership structure to acquire Windy Gap water rights which will serve the 5,000 unit Barefoot Lakes project in Firestone, Colorado.
Hospital Development. Represented the Longmont United Hospital in relation to land acquisition, entitlement and ultimate in lease negotiations associated with the Indian Peaks Medical Center in Frederick, Colorado.
