I retained Robert Bernhardt for a DUI charge that I received late last year. His communication is very poor both from his office and him personally. I was never communicated to about where my case stood or what his plan was. He incorrectly informed me of paperwork processes that cost me an extra mo...nth of driving privileges. I was offered a plea bargain from the DA that he never informed me of. When I first addressed my concerns about these things he became very aggressive. He appeared at two hearings on my behalf which amounted to less than an hour total. After deciding to go with another attorney and informing him that I would do so, he told me my retainer had expired.
