Mr. Sherwinter specializes in patent prosecution and counseling of clients on IP issues in a variety of technology areas, including telecommunications, signal processing and coding (including medical, encryption, and neural network applications), computer architecture, circuit design, biometrics, aerospace devices, musical devices and applications, and business methods and software.

Mr. Sherwinter has counseled many clients, from individual inventors to the largest patent filers in the world, on strategic intellectual property portfolio development.

Mr. Sherwinter works with a number of clients on trademark prosecution issues, including preparing and filing trademark applications, and initiating and evaluating trademark searches and alerts.
