I have dedicated my career to criminal defense work, which began as an attorney with the Colorado State Public Defender's Office. Towards the end of my career as a public defender I worked extensively on post-conviction matters, including appeals and ineffective assistance of counsel claims pursuant to Crim. P. 35(c). Now I practice in both areas as an attorney with DeChant Law Firm.
