Carolyn M. Black

Carolyn advises her clients in the areas of Business Sales & Acquisitions and Real Estate. Carolyn first joined the Minor & Brown team in 2008 as a Legal Assistant and enjoyed working with attorneys so much that she decided to take the next step and attend law school.  She received her J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School in 2012. During and after law school, Carolyn worked in-house for several firms in the Boulder area, which allowed her to identify the business concerns faced by her clients. Coming full circle, Carolyn was again hired by Minor & Brown in September 2014 as an Associate Attorney.

Carolyn received her B.A. in Spanish and English from the University of Virginia in 2003, spending her junior year abroad in Valencia, Spain.  She worked in several industries before beginning her law career.

Outside the office, Carolyn enjoys running, yoga, cooking, crossword puzzles, dogs (especially rescue dogs), cats, and elephants. She’s slowly warming up to skiing.
