Our bankruptcy was going fine until a couple of months ago when it came time for the discharge. Uh, where is my lawyer? Voice mail is full, no response to emails, then phone has been disconnected. Nice. Now the court expects me to be able to just pick up the ball and run with it as though I know what... I'm doing. Duh? That's what I hired a lawyer for. They really should require all court documents and communication to be made in plain English so that the layman can understand them, considering the fact that your attorney may not be there for you in the end.

My wife and I hired him and paid him to handle our Chapter 13 BK. Prior to our meeting of creditors we found out his paralegal was no longer there and we had an extremely hard time communicating with him. He did show up to the meeting if creditors, (over 2 months ago) however since then have r...eceived only a few voicemails about our case and paperwork they have lost essential to our filing. We just received notice that our case has been dismissed due to the fact not all paperwork had been filled and most importantly HE did not show up to our plan confirmation hearing on Oct. 3rd. We now are having to fight to reopen our case for the Bk protection and get our money back. We are lost and trying to figure out What to do!!! Went to his office today and from the looks if it he had not been there since at least September 27th because there was a shipping notice on the door from that day and 4 empty deep rock bottles outside his door.

My husband and I interviewed with a lot of attorneys before we decided to have Eric Nunemaker be our attorney. His professionalism with his kindness and understanding helped us through this difficult time. No one thinks about bankruptcy until they have certain life events that bring them to this. Eric has the desire to help, but there is little to no follow through. No communication over the phone at all! In order to get any help you have to email him and you MAY get a response. After 12 months our bankruptcy is still not filed or completed, he has failed to file our final certificate and we ...even gave him a second chance he took our money and has not used it to re-open the case. After our BK was cancelled due to his lack of follow through we have our old creditors asking for money again. Poor service and poor follow up.
