I agree with my colleagues. If you and the employer fulfill the requirements you will have a chance for an H1, there is no guaranteed petition.

I agree with my colleagues. The notices are separate. Generally, the biometrics notice arrives 2 to 4 weeks after the receipt notice.

Contact your foreign student advisor. Technically you are not required to change to F1, it may be a school policy however.
