Work is only permitted with the EAD as an H4.

The Embassy is requiring the 2015 federal tax returns - if you qualify for the co-sponor, then you can file.

The H1B ls for work inside the US. If you are not physically working here or living here, there is no US immigration requirement.

AP is required for travel. Contact the company's US immigration attorney regarding the best strategy to allow you to re-enter the US.

It is safer to travel with B2 since the H4 is based on the husband's H1B. Contact a US immigration attorney.
