Whitney Leigh Wright

Whitney Wright, Esq. attended law school at Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida. Throughout law school she interned with state and district attorney's offices working in both the misdemeanor and family violence units.  She also was participated in the Disability and Public Benefits Clinic where she interviewed and counseled clients on such issues as social security disability claims, Medicaid and Medicare benefits, guardianships and advance directives.  Whitney served as the Student Bar Association Secretary and was subsequently elected Student Bar Association President. Whitney is especially proud of this accomplishment, as she was the first woman and the youngest law student to be elected to this post in the school's history. Besides being Student Bar Association President, Whitney was highly involved in many academic and extracurricular aspects and organizations of her law school. One of her greatest attributes is her ability to work with people.

A native of Aspen, Colorado, Whitney knew she wanted to return to Colorado to practice law. Upon graduating from law school, Whitney moved to Denver and was sworn into the Colorado Bar in October 2010. Whitney gained experience with Colorado real estate issues as a clerk for Smittkamp and Walters, LLC, a Boulder firm with a focus on real estate law. Whitney also served as an intern in the Family Violence Unit of the Denver District Attorney's Office.
