Biography
Stephen W. Wahlberg is one of the founding partners ofWahlberg, Woodruff, Nimmo & Sloane, LLP, the leading personal injury and medical malpractice law firm in the State of Colorado. Mr. Wahlberg received his B.A. degree from The University of Colorado at Boulder and his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Denver College of Law in 1981.
Mr. Wahlberg can take credit for some of the largest settlements and verdicts in Colorado and is experienced in auto accident, motorcycle accident, train crash, plane/aviation crashes, medical malpractice, elevator/escalator claims and catastrophic personal injuries.
Mr. Wahlberg is the co-chair of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association Auto Litigation Committee and serves on the Board of Directors for CTLA. Mr. Wahlberg has been selected by his peers in the Best Lawyers in America for the personal injury division, and recently, he was named in 5280 Magazine’s second annual list of the top lawyers in Denver for 2016. He is also the immediate past president of the American Board of Trial Advocates, an elite group of trial lawyers who have 20 or more trials. Mr. Wahlberg’s acceptance in Best Lawyers in America and The American Board of Trial Advocates was based on a vote of opposing attorneys and co-counsel. Mr. Wahlberg has also received the highest rating from Martindale-Hubbell and is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum based on his jury verdicts.
