Where to start? A few years back I totaled a 4Runner that I owned and sold it through Craigslist for around 1k, I left the title open (stupid I know) when I sold it to help out the buyer as he said he was going to fix it up and sell it in Mexico. Few months go by and I find out I have a warrant fo...r odometer tampering, a misdemeanor. Turns out the guy who bought it fixed it up and sold it here in Denver while also rolling back the odometer. He posed as me when selling it since I left the title open to a woman for around 11k. He ripped the person off obviously but my name was on the title as the seller unfortunately. I hire Peter to simply explain what happened to the prosecutor and request a photo lineup to prove I wasn't the one who sold the woman the car. Pretty simple. Well a year goes by in continuances all the while listening to him COMPLAIN about how he has to pay a divorce lawyer at every hearing. Still no photo line up... at this point I had spent around 6k in fees at 400$ an hr. I provided all my witnesses and evidence supporting my story so he simply just needed to request a photo lineup to clear my name. After around the 6th hearing I decided to fire him and represent myself. Couldn't help but notice at that point how he and the prosecutor just chatted and laughed at every hearing while I'm paying 400$ an hr for their conversations. Well the next hearing after I fired him and requested a trial the charge was dropped. Keep in mind the penalty for the crime would have been 6mo probation at the most. To top it all off he sends me an invoice for 3000$ more 6months after I had the charges dropped.... I'm am currently looking at suing him for malpractice and will be reporting him to the state bar. AVOID THIS LAWYER LIKE THE PLAGUE!!

I could not be more pleased with Pete Weber himself I am very happy with how he handled my case took it personal I almost answered calls at all hours of the night was willing to take as long as possible in person or on the phone to explain thoroughly answer questions over and over that he already exp...lained very level headed calm collected I was going through a divorce in a bad custody battle so I'm sure I lost my cool a few times and if not for Peter I probably wouldn't be a successful case unlike most fathers in Colorado for what he was up against all the rules broken on the other side he told me to hold my ground follow what he had to say and I would be ok even though he didn't represent me in court and I wish he would have much better than the guy who did he always acting like my personal lawyer and I never asked my representing lawyer in court before I would ask Pete I wouldn't have any other attorney across the board whether its family divorce criminal whatever he is the guy
