On October 22, 2021, the Supreme Court issued a rule to show cause why the trial court did not err in (1) finding that the defendant had waived attorney-client privilege, and (2) ordering the Public De ... fender’s Office to comply with a subpoena duces tecum. In its holding, the Colorado Supreme Court made absolute the rule that the discount erred in requiring the defense attorney to turn over their file in its entirety.
