Aaron William Slade

Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Aaron graduated summa cum laude from Portland State University in 2013 with a B.A. in Criminal Justice and Criminology. In 2022, he received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado School of Law, graduating Order of the Coif and ranking in the top 5% of his class.

As a student-attorney, Aaron fought for the constitutional rights of criminal defendants at the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender and successfully litigated wage claims for employees at the University of Colorado Civil Practice Clinic. He also contributed to the defense of immigrants facing deportation, honing his skills and commitment to protecting the rights of vulnerable populations. Aaron's experience includes an internship at the Korey Wise Innocence Project, where he reviewed crime-lab reports and developed strategies for potential innocence litigation.

Before law school, Aaron worked as a Disability Benefits Analyst and Senior Claim Specialist at Standard Insurance Company. At Novo Legal, he continues to fight for his clients' constitutional and human rights, leveraging his knowledge, experience, and dedication to make a difference in the lives of immigrants and others in need of representation.
