Said is a former Public Defender and a proud member of the Colorado Criminal Bar Association. An active member of NORML, Said also has extensive experience in the Cannabis Industry and has been involved since 2013. He helped launch the Colorado Bar Association’s Cannabis Law Committee and has worked closely with patients, growers, and business owners to navigate the complex regulations set by the Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED). Said also collaborates with local regulators and policymakers to shape cannabis legislation.

Legislative Leadership

In addition to his legal career, Said served as the State Representative for Colorado’s House District 31. During his tenure, he played a key role in passing legislation that positively impacted everyday Coloradans. His contributions included advancements in education access, family law reform, criminal justice reform, and much more. Said’s unwavering dedication ensured that the voices of Colorado residents were heard and championed at the Capitol.
