Mr. Noel Guardi is a private practitioner specializing in securities, corporate, and business law and litigation. He is currently Managing Partner at Guardi LLP.
As a member of the American Bar Association (1980 to 1997, 2008), Mr. Guardi served as a member of the Section on Business Law, Committee on Federal Regulation of Securities and Subcommittees on SEC Practice and Enforcement and Securities Litigation. He was also a member of the Section of Litigation, serving on the Securities Litigation Committee, Subcommittee on Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Subcommittee on Class Actions and Derivative Suits. Mr. Guardi is a former member of Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association.
Mr. Guardi has a diploma in Trail Advocacy Skills from the National Institute of Trail Advocacy, the nation's leading provider of legal advocacy skills training. NITA pioneered the legal skills learning-by-doing methodology and remains the ultimate standard in continuing legal education.
Admitted to practice in Colorado in 1978, Mr. Guardi earned his Juris Doctor degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he graduated near the top of his class. He was recruited to work for a prominent 17th Street law firm in Denver upon receiving his law degree. Mr. Guardi has owned his own law practice since 1982, other than a brief time when he was "Of Counsel" to a noted Washington, DC firm.
Mr. Guardi has lived and worked in the Denver, Colorado area for 38 years and has a second residence in Gulf County, Florida. His activities include biking, ocean kayaking, snowshoeing, white water rafting, skiing and West Coast Swing dancing. He enjoys performing in roadhouses and at parties and other events as a bassist/vocalist in The Mountain Mojo Men, playing an eclectic mix of blues, classic R&B and soul music.
A native New Yorker, Mr. Guardi was born in Brooklyn in 1953 and raised in Elmont, Long Island. Mr. Guardi earned a Bachelor of Science in Philosophy from UB in 1974, graduating cum laude.
