Mark was referred to us for my husband divorce case and custody case, by Colin, our criminal defense attorney. This divorce and custody case was difficult for my husband to go through, and because a false allegations criminal charge, it made this case more complex. Mark did his absolute best, we be...lieve, every step of the way. The ex wife made things an absolute nightmare for my husband, and watching him go through this was heart breaking. My husband and I didn’t make things easy for mark either as we were both addicted to heroin and meth at the time. Mark fought for my husband every step of the way until the absolute end, which involved not only the divorce and child custody part of this case, but several protection orders that were filed in different Colorado county’s by his ex wife. Mark made sure to squash those protection orders one by one, and did so with so much passion and care and knowledge and patience. Everyone involved had to have been at their wits end with everything going on. Thankfully, and luckily, during one of the protection order hearings, I believe that’s when, the ex wife said something’s on the stand that we couldn’t believe, and we were just shocked. Mark made note of these things, and was always in constant contact with our criminal Defense attorney Colin. We never had the chance to confirm our thoughts, but my husband and I fully believe that Mark played a substantial role in the criminal defense case being dismissed as requested by the prosecution! Unfortunately, as we were both addicted at the time this all was happening, the child custody case wasn’t a happy ending, mark would have stayed on with us but due to so many circumstances, one being a second arrest for drugs during the custody case, mark was unable to represent my husband any longer. We regret not getting sober sooner, because my husband would have had custody of his son. That is our fault, our choices. Mark stayed dedicated to the end, and I would recommend him to anyone that needs his services! He knows what he is doing, he stays in constant contact, and never brushed us off or made us feel like we were terrible people for what was going on. He cares about you like you’re his own family. From the very first week we spoke to him he gave my husband the best legal advice, and it made things go much better than if we had not spoken to him. My husband would have been forced out of his own house due to a protection order if we wouldn’t have spoken to mark and he hadn’t given us the advice that we desperately needed. I truly wish things had ended differently, and if Mark was in Colorado Springs right now, and he would allow for it lol, I would 100% be hiring him for custody issues that have risen over the past 4 years to do with my two kids, as well as my husbands ex wife contacting my kids dads. Hire mark! You will not regret it, he will fight for you, he will do his absolute best no matter the complexity of the case! We will forever be grateful for Mr. Chapleau and the mark he left on our lives. Our only regret is that we cannot say we are 5 years sober, this was a 2019 case, but by the grace of God we are 4 years. Thank you Mark, you have no idea the impact that you have had our Mike and Mine’s life. Do it, hire him. You won’t regret it.

Mark is amazing. From the consultation to him accepting our case, I felt like he was always on the job. No doubt, my nephew’s case was a difficult case, as it never ends.
