I received a JD from the University of Denver Law School in 1988. During that time, my class partner and I placed 2nd in the “Natural Resources” debate competition. I also graduated early while clerking for the Silvan Legal Clinic, where we provided extensive pro bono and low pay representation of Defendants who were unable to afford an attorney.
In 1986, I successfully completed an Internship with the Denver Public Defenders Office, providing written responses to incarcerated Defendants seeking reconsideration from the Courts of their jail and prison sentences. Since 1989, as the principal attorney at The Mitchell Law Firm, I have represented dozens of clients each year for approximately 30 years now, all with the objective to give back to the community.
From approximately 1989 through 1996, I provided continuous and extensive pro bono representation for members and their families and friends who were associated with the Denver Church of Christ.
Finally, I have provided nearly 3 decades of pro bono representation for members of the US Army and US Air Force in Colorado Springs, as well as pro bono representation for students at the University of Colorado and students of Colorado State University. I have also provided extensive pro bono representation for single parent families and Defendants with physical and mental disabilities throughout Colorado.

Worst Lawyer ever
He was late to every court date I had never really talked to me one-on-one, Drew my case out for year and a half and barely got a DUI dropped to a dwai! I could have done that myself and not paid 6 grand! Worst money ever spent
Certainly, we are disappointed anytime a client is completely not satisfied with the outcome of their case. We always strive to get the best results for our clients and sometimes the facts and circumstances of a case can limit how good of an outcome we can achieve.

Big misses and lots of pressure
After being the victim of a road rage incident but cited, I hired him to represent me and could not be more disappointed in the results. The entire time I felt pressured and when I eventually fired him I discovered critical things about my case that he had failed to mention. His use of the antiquated...
Thank you for your recent feedback regarding certain aspects of your case. I thought we had received a favorable proposed resolution. I strive for individual attention and contact with each one of my clients and have held to that high professional standard for over 30 years.

DO NOT TRUST THIS FIRM
Greg is a very underhanded lawyer. I consulted with him over the phone. He sounded good. I worked very hard and did everything he said to do in getting my things together. When I paid him, he reviewed my background, found that I was a severely mentally disabled combat veteran, and dumped me 10 day...
"Greg Mitchell represented me in a misdemeanor matter recently. I am an attorney, and very able to judge the quality of legal representation. I've had previous representation (from other than Greg), and from knowledge of the of experience of others, I am truly stunned at just how many bad lawyers are out there, most certainly regarding those who go simply through the motions of representation, and don't mean just the legal ones. I feel fortunate to find in Greg a guy who believe really did everything he could to get the best possible result for me. Greg is personable guy who I quickly developed a trusting relationship with. He was honest and upfront. His expertise and experience is tops. He is well liked in the courthouse, has a great staff and has reasonable fees. I had a good experience with him and highly recommend him."
