Natalie Ann Petrucci

Natalie graduated from the UCLA School of Law in 2017 where she received her Juris Doctorate degree and graduate certificates from the Epstein Program in Public Interest Law and Policy and the Critical Race Studies Program. Prior to law school, Natalie spent two years serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in rural Panama. She also worked with the Prison Law Office, in Berkeley, California, where she fought for the medical and disability rights of people incarcerated in California state prisons. During law school, she served as a University of California Human Rights Fellow while interning at the Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project in Arizona, and spent a semester working with a labor and human rights non-profit in Nicaragua. Following law school, Natalie worked with the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network (RMIAN) in Colorado. During her time with RMIAN, Natalie represented children and families seeking humanitarian immigration relief before the Denver Immigration Court, USCIS, and in custody and guardianship proceedings before various Colorado courts. She also trained and mentored pro bono attorneys. Natalie then served as a Supervising Attorney with the Children’s Legal Team at ProBAR, a project of the American Bar Association located in the Rio Grande Valley region in South Texas, and worked at a Green & Maris, P.C., a small boutique immigration law firm located in Boulder, Colorado. 

In her current role as a Staff Attorney at A Better Balance, Natalie works alongside grassroots organizations to support workers' rights policy advocacy and implementation at the state level. She also engages in Know Your Rights work to ensure all workers understand their rights and how changes to the law impact workers and their famlies. A Better Balance uses the power of the law to advance justice for workers, so they can care for themselves and their loved ones without jeopardizing their economic security.
