Hannah is a graduate of The George Washington University Law School, where she was the first student in the university’s history to pursue and complete a JD/MA in Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies.
Hannah’s legal career has always been dedicated to empowering and advocating for those going through a difficult time; she worked in civil rights litigation combating police brutality and employment discrimination before joining the Rocky Mountain Victim Law Center, where she represented survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and gender-based discrimination as a staff attorney in Title IX proceedings and civil injunctive matters. Hannah also worked in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington, D.C., where she advocated for survivors by tracking and drafting victim-centered legislation, and in production management at The Second City theater company in Chicago. During law school, Hannah worked extensively in civil rights organizations, participating in the Jacob Burns Domestic Violence Project Clinic and clerking for SurvJustice, Inc., where she represented survivors of campus sexual assault, published white papers and engaged in community advocacy.
Hannah joined the legal team at Gendelman Klimas, Ltd. in December of 2020 to continue her trauma-informed practice of supporting and empowering those navigating important family decisions and difficult times. She specializes in divorce (both contested and non-contested), custody and protection order litigation.
In her free time, Hannah enjoys going to concerts, reading, and exploring beautiful Colorado with her partner and her dog, Captain.
