Daniel A Wartell

Dan is a passionate trial lawyer who focuses on complex business litigation, financial fraud and business torts, and professional liability. His clients range from individuals and small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. His experience includes litigation regarding breach of contract, unfair competition and misappropriation of trade secrets, fraud and breach of fiduciary duty, embezzlement, intellectual property litigation, and frequently serves as co-counsel or local counsel on a full range of matters and he also represents individuals in professional liability matters including legal malpractice, business and real estate broker malpractice, and accountant malpractice.

Dan is a fourth-generation Coloradoan with strong ties to the Denver community. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his two daughters – the loves of his life. Dan also has an active pro bono practice with recent contributions including work for the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center, the filing of an amicus brief with the Colorado Supreme Court on behalf of the American Civil Liberties Union of Colorado, and representation of the Colorado Trial Lawyer’s Association to preserve the First Amendment and confidentiality rights of its members.
