Bill has over 14 years of experience in commercial and consumer collection law, including obtaining judgments, foreclosing judgment liens, locating, seizing and garnishing assets, perfecting and enforcing security interests and lien rights, and collateral repossession/replevin and other UCC compliance issues. Bill also represents contractors, suppliers, equipment rental companies and project owners in construction collection disputes, including mechanics’ lien claims, claims on state and federal public works projects, payment and performance bond claims, and claims under the Colorado Trust Fund Statute. Bill’s high profile clients have included Harley Davidson Credit, Eaglemark Financial Services, Snap-on Credit, Sunbelt Rentals, Wachovia Bank, Discover Bank, Zions First National Bank and AT&T Corp. Bill is also a Member of the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys (NARCA).
Bill’s practice also focuses on real estate, construction law and workers’ compensation. On the real estate side, Bill has extensive experience representing both buyers and sellers in seller property disclosure, earnest money and other disputes arising in the sale of residential and commercial real estate, as well as in handling landlord/tenant matters where he represents residential and commercial property owners, and tenants, in all phases of the eviction process. On the construction side, Bill handles mechanics’ lien litigation and construction defect cases.
