Stephen Joseph Abbott

Stephen Abbott is a graduate of the University of Colorado Law School and Wabash College, where he graduated with distinction.

Before beginning his legal career, Stephen taught English to elementary, high school, and university students in Mexico City where he sharpened his public speaking skills.  After law school, Stephen worked as a law fellow at the City Attorney’s Office in Denver, defending the municipal employer in workers’ compensation actions, and developing the skills he would later take to Lee & Brown.

Stephen has joined the City and County of Denver as an Assitant District Attorney in Workers' Comensation.

In his life outside of the office, Stephen enjoys photography, backpacking, and spending time with his dog.  Stephen is also involved in the Spanish Speaking Lawyers Committee of the
