also known as Sharyn Beers, P.C.
I’m a FINRA pubic arbitrator and a New York admitted attorney living in Denver to be near my children. 21 years ago, I opened my firm on Long Island and soon became known at our local bar association for negotiating creative solutions to matrimonial disputes and for our unique ability to find missing matrimonial assets. I mediate civil and family issues in Denver but still shadow lawyer clients in New York. I encourage the preemptive approach to law to head off legal difficulties and take pride in exemplary, personalized client service. Although I could easily waive into the Colorado Bar, I do not intend to do so because I no longer believe litigation is the best first choice. I prefer doing what I enjoy most, which is solving clients’ problems through consulting, negotiation, and mediation.
(Pre-Move to Denver: In 2004, the firm opened in Cold Spring Harbor to serve the legal needs of the local cultural arts community. Several years later, I served as Chairman of the Nassau County Bar Association’s Entertainment Law Committee. Many of our clients, however, chose to retain the firm for their matrimonial matters and soon the firm became known for our unique ability to find missing matrimonial assets. Despite the local celebrity of some of our clients, we do not name drop because we respect our clients’ privacy and because all of our clients are equally important to us. We take pride in our exemplary client service and we are anything but a 9 to 5 office. We also take pride in the fact that we are able to offer low rates. We encourage the preemptive approach to law and encourage the public to contact the office before questions become legal issues.)
