Paul V. Timmins

Paul V. Timmins is a partner of the firm in the Denver office. He has been with the firm since 1988. His practice emphasis is real estate and land use law. Mr. Timmins has a wide range of experience in transactions of all kinds relating to real estate development, finance, leasing and acquisitions and dispositions. His practice has included representation of developers in all phases of the development process, from acquisition through entitlement, subdivision, preparation of CC&Rs, marketing, construction and sales. He has also represented both lenders and borrowers in connection with acquisitions, refinancings and construction. In connection with various real estate and other types of business enterprises, Mr. Timmins has negotiated and drafted documentation for numerous joint venture arrangements, including partnerships and limited liability companies. Some examples of projects with which Mr. Timmins has assisted clients include: Zoning, subdivision and development approvals in connection with a variety of real estate development projects Due diligence review of a number of real estate development projects (including resort, residential and mixed-use projects) at various stages of completion in connection with purchases or joint ventures Purchases and sales of shopping centers, hotels and office buildings Formation of joint ventures for resort and residential developments Formation of joint ventures for acquisitions and redevelopment of shopping centers Private and public financings and refinancings of real estate and construction projects Representation of both landlords and tenants in connection with office, retail and ground leases. 5⁄05
