David Marcus

D. J. Marcus is a trial attorney with years of experience in the courtroom. He has built a portfolio of trial victories in complex commercial litigation and real estate disputes. Able to guide clients through mediation to obtain favorable settlements, D. J. is also ready to take cases all the way to verdict. He appears in districts across the state of Colorado and the Colorado Court of Appeals.

He is Colorado’s expert on The Hague Convention on Service Abroad and the Colorado Foreign-Country Money Judgments Recognition Act, litigating and successfully domesticating judgments from Hong Kong, South Korea, and other foreign countries. D. J. has tried cases involving Colorado’s Common Interest Ownership Act (CCIOA) and the Uniform Enforcement of Foreign Judgments Act. He helps businesses protect trade secrets and competitive advantage through enforcement of non-disclosure, non-solicitation, and non-compete agreements and defends employees from overzealous assertions of the same. D. J. resolves commercial and residential landlord/tenant disputes and conflicts arising out of the purchase and sale of commercial and residential real property.
