Averil Koenig Andrews

Averil K. Andrews specializes in complex commercial litigation & business disputes. Prior to joining Allen Vellone Wolf Helfrich & Factor P.C., Averil practiced in Miami and Los Angeles, handling all aspects of litigation in federal and state courts and arbitrations including jury trial and appellate work. Her practice has touched an array of industries and areas of law including, intellectual property, entertainment, technology, securities, real estate, pharmaceuticals, corporate divorce, legal malpractice, and international law.

Averil earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree at the University of Virginia and her Law Degree from the University of Miami School of Law with cum laude honors. While in law school, she served as the Research & Writing Editor for the Business Law Review Journal, as an intern in the Human Rights Clinic where she advocated for domestic violence policy reform, and as member of the International Moot Court Program where she briefed and argued the University of Buenos Aires International Commercial Arbitration Moot entirely in Spanish. Averil also served as an intern to the Honorable Judge Kenneth L. Ryskamp of the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida in West Palm Beach. Prior to law school, Averil lived in Malaga, Spain where she taught English to children and adults. Averil also worked as a criminal and immigration law legal assistant in Washington, D.C.
