At Bob Roberts, P.C., we always strive to do the best possible job for our clients. We’ve been practicing law for over 12 years, and we believe the fact that we've been in business for so long proves that we know how to get the job done well. However when you do anything for that long, sooner or later you're going to encounter someone whose style doesn't mesh well with yours. That's in essence what happened here. We regret that this client chose to take this disagreement public; however since they have done so, we are compelled to set the record straight so that you may know all sides of the story: a) The client hired us to do a job, but refused to cooperate with prosecution of the case, including refusal to execute certain documents, and failure to produce key documentation. b) The client’s demeanor was erratic, often resorting to threats and irrational accusations. c) Despite being advised multiple times, the client refused to authorize us to make an offer of settlement on their behalf. Curiously, they now criticize us for not timely settling the case. d) The client was constantly late in paying their invoices. Eventually, we withdrew from the case due to client’s failure to timely pay their invoices, and presented our final bill, which the client refused to pay. The client then made various threats, apparently thinking they could bully their way out of their financial obligation. Now that you know the entire story, we hope you will consider using our services.
