Rachel G. Palmer was raised in Colorado and is a proud alumna of Regis Jesuit High School. In 2010, Rachel graduated from Wheaton College in Illinois and went on to the University of Nebraska College of Law, where she graduated in 2013. During law school, Rachel was a member of the Nebraska Law Review, and served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Nebraska Law Review Bulletin. She is also a published author, with her article “The Interplay of Due Process Rights and Nebraska Water Law” being published in 2013. She also worked for the Nebraska Department of Natural Resources for two years litigating cases in front of a Special Master across the state.
Prior to opening her own firm, Rachel was a top-rated attorney at the largest domestic litigation firm in the country. Rachel has spent her entire career focused on family law, and has spent the past several years honing her litigation skills. She has logged hundreds of hours litigating throughout the Denver Metro area, on all family law issues, including common law marriage, military pensions and retirement, psychological parentage, protection orders and restrictions of parenting time.
While she is an experienced litigator, Rachel also recognizes the value of negotiated settlements and helps her clients navigate the emotional, financial and legal ramifications of mediation. Despite her strong litigation background, Rachel will always strive to reach the best outcome for her clients, no matter what avenue that may take.
Rachel has successfully and passionately represented hundreds of clients through the divorce or child-custody process. Her approach is to recognize each client’s individual goals and desires, and to work tirelessly to achieve them. Rachel’s clients find her to be a personable advisor, and often their closest confidant as they go through their case. She understands that you work closely with your attorney during this process and how important it is for you to trust her advice and counsel.
Rachel has been a volunteer attorney-coach for a local high school Mock Trial team. As a coach, Rachel taught the rules of evidence and litigation skills to high school students for their competition every Spring. Every year that Rachel coached, the team placed second at regionals and competed in the state-level competition. Rachel has a passion for high school students and often serves as an alumni mentor for her alma mater teaching students about the value of education and how to parlay their skills into a legal career.

"Rachel is a great attorney that advocates for her clients zealously but professionally. She is always prepared and willing to discuss reasonable settlement options but not afraid to give “real” working scenarios to clients. A+ attorney all the way around."
