Alexandra Uri

Alexandra (Alex) Goldstein is an associate attorney at Palmer Family Law and practices exclusively in family law. She specializes in cases involving victims of domestic violence and coercive control, allegations of child abuse and neglect, and other high conflict child custody issues. Alex also specializes in cases involving the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction and has litigated such cases in state and federal court.

Alex strives to closely comprehend client goals and ensure that each client feels secure and dignified in resolving their family law matter. While these goals are often achieved through negotiating settlements, Alex is always prepared to zealously advocate for her clients in the courtroom.

Alex is also a Child and Family Investigator (CFI) and provides guidance to Courts in issuing orders concerning allocation of parental responsibility. Alex is available for appointment in Jefferson County, Denver County, Summit County, Adams County, Chaffee County, Custer County, Fremont County, Park County, Arapahoe County, Weld County, Boulder County, and Douglas County.
Alex also serves a Child Legal Representative (CLR) and represents the best interests of children in court involved in custody disputes.

Originally from Houston, Texas, Alex attended Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas where she got her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in philosophy. Alex moved to Colorado to attend law school at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. While in law school, Alex was a member of the National Trial Team and competed in a number of national trial competitions. In 2020, Alex, along with members of her team won the In Vino Veritas Trial Competition. Alex will frequently go back to her alma mater to judge mock trial competitions at all levels.

Alex has been named a Super Lawer Rising Star since 2025 and a Best Lawyers Ones to Watch since 2026. Alex has also been published in Law Week Colorado and Best Lawyers.

In her free time, Alex enjoys film photography, gardening, cheering on the Spurs, and enjoying time with her husband and their two fur babies: Vinnie and Dyna.
