Rebecca Louise Balanoff

Met with and subsequently hired Rebecca Balanoff as counsel for an SSDI(social security disability denial case last year. I have met with her once recently bc my SSD hearing was given a date. She talked very fast and after 2.5 hours at this appointment, she advised that she had a seminar to go to and... would have to stop...and “...you have too many doctors to go through...” I found that she doesn’t want to assist me financially with obtaining any of my medical records that SS doesn’t have and I do not feel that neither she or her one person office staff has been supportive in obtain same. Instead, keep instructing me to quote them a paragraph that states by law that “...Medicaid/state medical program insurance clients are not to be charged for their records by Medicaid providers’. Hopefully she gets herself together before my hearing as I figure it would be detrimental to try to hired another attorney.
