Biography
I practice family law to ensure clients have an strong advocate with a solid legal foundation. I pride myself on ensuring I am attentive to clients' particular and specific needs and work with them in a meaningful manner, navigating through what is often an overwhelming process and difficult time in their lives.
I practice all aspects of family law, including divorce, separation, child support, allocation of parental responsibilities (custody) for parents and non-parents, grand parent visitation, paternity, dependency & neglect cases, and post-decree modifications and enfocements.
I am a member of various bar associations- The Colorado Bar Association, The Denver Bar Association, and the GLBT Bar Association, just to name a few. I have been recognized as a Super Lawyer "Rising Star" and named the Ally of the Year from the GLBT Bar Association.
Before becoming a lawyer, I taught middle school and loved it! I just realized that I needed to advocate for people in a different way. I still participate in school related legal activities, such as Constitution Day.
Outside of my legal work, I enjoy spending time with my family, running, hiking, and mowing my lawn or shoveling my driveway and sidewalks...depending on the season. I volunteer for various organizations, both legal and non-legal.
