Thomas Willard Henderson IV

          Thomas W. Henderson practices in a variety of substantive areas of civil law. These areas include products liability, professional liability of engineers, legal malpractice litigation, personal injuries, large fires, ski and other outdoor recreation liability, commercial litigation, insurance coverage, insurance bad faith, property and casualty insurance issues and construction. Mr. Henderson's practice frequently takes him into both the State and Federal Courts throughout Colorado. Mr. Henderson's practice includes extensive experience handling cases involving claims of multi-million dollar fires, spinal injuries, closed head injuries, wrongful death, temporomandibular joint dysfunction and a wide variety of other types of damage and personal injuries. Mr. Henderson's practice in areas of insurance includes the pursuit and defense of large bad faith cases, providing coverage opinions and analysis, addressing complex issues of property and casualty insurance, fraud and arson cases and declaratory judgments.

          Mr. Henderson is widely recognized for his ability to comprehensively evaluate his cases early so as to maximize his clients' opportunity to achieve a successful result as quickly as possible, but is also known for being unafraid to aggressively litigate cases and successfully take them through a trial when doing so is in his clients' best interest.

          Mr. Henderson was admitted to practice in Colorado in October of 1987. Since that time, Mr. Henderson's practice has been exclusively in the area of civil litigation. Mr. Henderson is a member of both the Denver and Arapahoe County Bar Associations, as well as a member of the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association and the Defense Research Institute. Mr. Henderson is a frequent lecturer on insurance bad faith, insurance coverage and a host of other litigation-related topics.

          After graduating in 1983 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington, Mr. Henderson obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 1987.
