I hired Cory Curtis’s Firm just a little over 2 years for a custody case recently. The company I’m employed with, offers its employees an additional benefit at a small annual cost called Legal Shield. I worked with them to find a nice list of very reputable attorneys and started making my phone cal...ls. I talked to over a dozen attorneys. From lone attorneys who had 40+ years’ experience, attorney duos, teams, and most wanted to spin the case this way, and attorneys who like to bully the opposing party. Attorneys, who seriously wanted to lie, spin the case that way, and go for all the opposing party’s money or throat like a chess game so they can’t keep their attorney and we win by default like. Ones that would rather focus on a win instead of the events of the case and how everything actually will affect my family. I spoke with Cory Curtis over the phone for almost 2 hours prior to recruiting his firm, and out of the 20 or so attorneys I reached out to, I could not be happier with my decision. He’s a man who truly thinks of the whole family picture for his clients. Same for his team. Regardless of the outcome of my cases with him, he and his staff were really on my team. Once all the facts and proof was gathered, he and his firm were amazingly already 90% in line with what approach I felt comfortable without back and forth discussion and just the facts on the case. Going through the natural back and forth and continual communication throughout our time together, we quickly gained that last 10% making us 100% on the same page with how to handle the case both on the preparedness, and presentation\professionally aggressive if needed.
