Shelley has performed a wide variety of other community work, including volunteerwork for the homeless and low-income people in Denver. Originally from the Denver area, Shelley received her Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder and her Juris Doctor and Masters of Arts in International Affairs from American University in Washington D.C. Shelley is licensed to practice law in Colorado and New York. She is proficient in Spanish and speaks elementary Turkish.

Costly with little room for "planning"
Estate planning. I felt her fees were expensive for what we received. Her rigid style doesn't leave space for many questions or discussion of "what if" scenarios. We left feeling taken advantage of.
