Alexandra C. Johnson

Alex Johnson is a family law attorney at Petrelli Previtera, LLC, serving clients across Colorado from the firm's Greenwood Village office. She handles divorce, allocation of parental responsibilities, child support, modifications, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements and protection orders.

Clients describe Alex as communicative, organized and genuinely invested in their goals. She explains what is happening in a case and why, so nobody is left guessing about next steps. Earlier in her career, Alex advised more than 100 clients at a humanitarian immigration firm on T-Visas, adjustment of status and naturalization, supervising case preparation for trafficking survivors. Working with people who had experienced trafficking and domestic violence taught her that legal issues rarely exist in isolation, and that shapes how she approaches cases involving protection orders and relationships where one partner holds disproportionate control.

Alex earned her Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law and is admitted in Colorado and Washington, D.C. She is the author of "Why a Prenup Is Not a Plan for Failure." Outside the office she reads, travels, hikes, skis and volunteers with a local puppy rescue.
