Christina Marie Gilbertson

Christina Gilbertson is the founder of Gilbertson Law Office and a Colorado-licensed attorney with more than 20 years of legal experience. She is licensed to practice in Colorado, Nevada, Utah, and California, and serves clients throughout Colorado on a fully virtual basis.

But the credentials only tell part of the story.

Christina grew up in Colorado, left for law school at California Western School of Law, and spent her early career at large litigation firms — doing exactly what litigation attorneys do: stepping in after relationships had broken down, disputes had escalated, and options had narrowed. She was good at it. She also found it deeply frustrating.

"I spent years watching people deal with problems that didn't have to happen. A contract that wasn't drafted clearly. A business with no succession plan. An estate plan that conflicted with the operating agreement. The litigation was necessary — but the underlying problem almost never was."

She came back to Colorado in 2011 with a different goal: help clients stay out of court in the first place.

She founded Gilbertson Law Office in 2018 to do exactly that — building a practice around prevention, planning, and the kind of ongoing legal relationships that actually make a difference for small business owners and families.
