My experience with Renee Cox was just as frustrating as with her partner, Marc Patoile. Without my agreement, she was assigned as a second attorney on my case—something I neither requested nor needed—but of course, I was billed for it. Rather than adding value, she and Patoile constantly contradicted... each other, spoke in completely different legal “languages,” and failed to present a unified strategy. The result? Confusion, wasted time, and no real direction. Instead of working together to advocate for me, they let important aspects of my case slip through the cracks. Their lack of coordination was astonishing for a law firm that claims to provide professional representation. I was left feeling unsupported, misled, and like my case was just another billable hour rather than a priority. If you’re looking for attorneys who actually communicate with each other—and more importantly, with you—look elsewhere. Hiring this firm was a costly mistake, both financially and emotionally.
